Rainbow Ministry

The Rainbow Ministry of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church offers love and acceptance to persons with developmental, cognitive or physical challenges.

Our Sunday School class is designed so students will:

· Grow in their understanding of God’s world and their place in it.

· Experience the peace and joy of knowing they are of value to God and his people.

· Grow in their relationship with Jesus.

· Grow in their relationship with our church.

Rainbow ministry provides support and community for those with special needs. Their logo, the rainbow, fits this optimistic group. Their spirits are diverse and colorful yet they are united in faith and friendship.

This group of adults with both physical and intellectual disabilities come together for class at 9:00 and then attend the 10:30am worship service. Transportation from Pensacola is available.

Interested in Volunteering?

A strong team of volunteers nurture the Rainbow Ministry and its members. We encourage everyone to stop by for a visit even if you don’t have the time to volunteer.

If interested in volunteering, we would welcome classroom teachers, helpers, snack providers, and van drivers. You need no special qualifications or talents, only a willingness to be embraced by a special group of individuals.

To volunteer or for more information about this special ministry, call Sheryl Dunne (850) 384-8861.
