Does it matter what
I wear?
Nope. There are dress shirts & ties, shorts & flip flops, and everything in between. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Will I have to do anything?
Maybe you are returning to church, or coming to church for the very first time. We understand that you want to be anonymous and might just be trying GBUMC out to see if it fits. Not a problem, just relax, there’s no pressure.
What do you have for children
and students?
We offer childcare for children ages 6 weeks through age 4 at all services. During the 9:30 service, we provide Sunday School for 2 years to 5th grade.
Do you really believe all this God stuff?
We really do. We believe that God sent his son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, to restore us to a right relationship with God the Father. Through the Holy Spirit, we feel Him moving and directing our lives. If you've never experienced the moving of the Spirit, we'd love to talk with you about this.
Will I be asked to give money?
If you're visiting, you can leave your wallets at home. The giving of tithes and offerings is simply an opportunity for our members (and long-time guests) to give back to the church community.
How long will the service last?
Around an hour, unless the Spirit starts moving!
What will the messages be about?
God's word taught in a way that is relevant to your life today.
