baptisms
We are pleased that you are interested in baptism. Baptism is an important step for every person who has accepted Christ as his or her Savior.
Why are infants baptized?
Infant baptism is a recognition and celebration of the grace of God at work in our lives even before we know about it. We are "covered over" with God's love from the very beginning and the water over the child's head symbolizes this. Salvation, however, happens when a person accepts with faith that grace that has always been extended by God.
Do I need to be re-baptized?
If you have previously been baptized in any Christian denomination, even as an infant or young child, your baptism is considered valid and does not need to be repeated.
Do I have to be baptized to become a member of the church?
Baptism is a key component of church membership. If you have never previously been baptized you are encouraged to do so at the same time you profess your membership vows.
Do I have to be a member of the church to be baptized?
No, baptism is available to any adult who recognizes and confesses their own sinfulness and then recognizes and confesses Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

A funeral is a worship service in which we thank God for the gifts of life and offer tribute to your loved one in a way that will bring comfort, assurance and hope. Weddings
We are delighted to share with you in the joyous occasion of your wedding. It is our desire to help make this time in your life beautiful and sacred. As Christians, we believe that marriage is an institution ordained by God. A church wedding is a service of worship uniting a couple in Holy Matrimony and as such at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church it is conducted as a worship service, under the direction of the officiating pastor in accordance with the guidelines of the The United Methodist Church.
Gulf Breeze Methodist desires to extend every courtesy to those who wish to use its facilities for weddings. Please contact the church office at 932-3594 about the date and time you have selected. After the selection and scheduling of a pastor your wedding will be placed on the church calendar and the church's wedding coordinator will contact you.
