Advent
Angels
Every
year around Christmas more than 500 local
children and senior adults receive Christmas
gifts through this ministry.
Disaster
Response Team
This team provides help to families after
a disaster such as a fire, tornado, or flooding
from hurricanes. Responses vary from clean-up
to light repair work, and may even include
emotional support.
Good
Samaritan Clinic
Provides
limited health care to residents who don't
have insurance. The clinic is located at 4435
Gulf Breeze Parkway (1.6 miles east of Wal-Mart).

Habitat
for Humanity
Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church will construct
two homes for local low-income families in
Gulf Breeze in 2008. Volunteers partner with
homeowners to work on building simple, decent
and affordable housing for families in need.

Interfaith
Ministries
Ten local churches have joined together to
form this outreach ministry for our community.
We provide food, clothes, and financial support
for a variety of needs within our community.
Other programs include a Thrift Store, Financial
Counseling, and soon will include Job Skills
Development.
Methodist
Meals
Volunteer Drivers provide
hot noon-time meals to the elderly and homebound.
We are the only organization in South Santa
Rosa County which is able to provide this
type of assistance.
Prison
Ministry (Pathways for ChangePathwaysforChangeNewsletter-Summer08_lowres)
Pathways
for Change is a jail-based addiction treatment
program dedicated to helping inmates realize
and overcome the destructive behaviours, attitudes,
and habits that prevent them from living a
life free from crime and incarceration.
Relay
for Life
Our
church paritcipate annually in theCancer Relay
for Life which takes place at Gulf
Breeze High School
Run
for the World
This 5K run/walk and one mile fun run which
is held locally every year, benefits all of
our Missions Ministries. Hundreds of volunteers
and runners make this event a continuing success
year after year. The next run will be February 21, 2009.
