What is MOPS and who is it for?

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. At MOPS you will experience fulfilling relationships with other moms and hear from knowledgeable speakers about topics unique to this stage of your life. MOPS is dedicated to the message that "Better Moms Make a Better World." MOPS is for ANY mother with a child in utero THROUGH kindergarten, regardless of religious beliefs. You do not have to be a member of Gulf Breeze UMC to attend our MOPS group.

When and where does GBUMC MOPS meet?

GBUMC MOPS meets the first and third Thursday of each month 9:30- 11:30 AM (except during school breaks) beginning September 15th through May. The dates are listed below for 2011-2012. We meet at Gulf Breeze UMC-Soundside Campus at 4115 Soundside Dr in Gulf Breeze, FL.

What do my kids do during the meetings?

During the MOPS meetings, your children (ages 0 through 6) will be cared for in a nuturing Christian environment where they will share in Bible stories and activities. Infants may stay in the meetings with their moms until they are ready to attend the nursery.

What happens in the meetings?

You will join other moms for good conversation, great information and delicious food. There will be a speaker at each meeting and meeting topics this year include children’s nutrition, discipline, stranger danger, and SPA DAY!

How much does it cost and what is the cost for?

Due at registration: $23.95 (this is for your MOPS International membership and is required to join any MOPS group and includes access to the full MOPS website, some goodies from MOPS International, a magazine and more!!)
