childhood when the basic patterns for coping
with life are formed.
About The Children's
Place
The Children's Place Preschool is a program for children ages 6 months to Pre-Kindergarten, located at the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church and the Community Life Center. Our Preschool is a special part-time children's program developed using researched child development principles. We emphasize the teaching of Christian values through well-grounded principles of current child development principles.
Our main program hours are 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Tuesday, Thursday classes are available. We also offer optional Early Play (7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.) and Stay and Play (1:00 p.m. - 2.:00 p.m.) care for an additional fee.
If you would like to register your child for the 2007 -2008 school year, please follow this link for the registration forms, complete all necessary forms, and return with the registration fee to the Children’s Place Office. Families presently enrolled in our program should register no later than February 28. Registration will be open to the public on March 1, 2007.

About our Accreditation
You have chosen an early childhood program
for your child that is accredited by the
National Association for the Education of
Young Children (NAEYC)and is a ministry of
the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.
NAEYC administers the largest and most widely
recognized national, voluntary, professionally
sponsored accreditation system for all types
of early childhood school and child care
centers. NAEYC is the nation's largest organization
of early childhood educators.
Early Childhood programs accredited by the
National Academy of Early Childhood Programs
- NAEY's accreditation department - have
voluntarily undergone a comprehensive process
of internal self-study, invited external
professional review to verify compliance
with the Criteria for High-Quality Early
Childhood Programs, and been found to be
in substantial compliance with the Criteria.

NAEYC's Academy.
