Congregational Care Ministries
JESUS SAID:
“Let me give you a new command: Love one another.
In the same way I loved you, you love one another.
This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples –
When they see the love you have for each other.”
John 13:34-35 The Message
Congregational Care Ministries provide care, concern, prayer and support for families and individuals at various stages, places and circumstances of life and to engage the congregation in service and community for one another. The focus of the Congregational Care Team is to respond to the care and support needs of the congregation and to engage the congregation in the ongoing spiritual, physical, emotional and relational expression of living faithfully within the Body of Christ.

Hospital Visitation
Each weekday, a pastor or Stephen Minster visits members and friends of the church who are in the Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Hospitals. Prior to surgery a Pastor will visit and pray with them. Please let the Church Office know when someone is going into the hospital (932 3594) or fill out the form online here.
Homebound and Nursing Home Visitation
Volunteers visit homes and nursing homes to share Christian fellowship with those who are no longer able to get out and worship.
Comfort Meals
The Comfort Meals Ministry touches people who are hurting due to the death of a loved one or other special need by providing a meal for the family. Coordinated by Bev Patrick- 932-7265.
Flower Delivery Ministry
After the worship service each Sunday , the altar flowers are carefully arranged in small vases and carried by volunteers to friends who are homebound, in a nursing home or in the hospital. This way the flower arrangements continue to bring a message of God’s love throughout the week.
Grief Care Ministry
Following the death of a loved one, we reach out to those who are huring, providing support for three to twelve months depending on their need.
Hospital Aftercare Ministry
Caring volunteers visit those who have been hospitalized offering support and continued care when someone is returning home. This transitional support means so much to those who might not be quite ready to be on their own following a hospital stay. Coordinated by Charlotte Warren at 932-3362.
Card and Telecaring Ministry
Through the out-pouring of cards and phone calls those who have been hospitalized or are experiencing other kinds of difficulties in their lives feel that they are not alone.
